Dr Govert Pauw works at Dental QMA Somerset West. It is a general family practice where we love children and their parents. We prefer to treat people rather than teeth. Understanding you better helps us serve you better. We are privileged to have lots of experience but if we can’t help you, we can make sure you get the help you need. DR Govert Pauw
Dr Govert Pauw qualified at the University of Pretoria in 1991. He spent most of his career in the UK. After which he returned from the UK in 2013.
Govert is currently practicing at DentalQMA Somerset West and with us at DentalQMA Stellenbosch. Govert and Liezel celebrated their 28th anniversary this year with their three boys and daughter. What he loves most about working in SA are the people.
Dr Rene Thiersen
Dr. Rene was a born and bred Gautenger, until 1995 when she started her dental studies at the University of Stellenbosch. After she completed her studies she started in private practice and owned her own practice for 13 years in Durbanville. Dr. Rene sold her practice in 2016 to focus more on her family while practicing part time. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in surgery as well as facial aesthetics.
Dr Tarina Terheyden
Dr Tarina Terheyden is originally from Pretoria but completed her Dental studies at the University of Stellenbosch in 2002. Dr Terheyden started her career in private practice in Pretoria and then moved to Lichtenburg in the NorthWest Province where she lived and worked in private practice for 10 years. In 2015 She moved back to her favourite Province where she worked in various Somerset West Practices as a locum dentist.
Dr Terheyden loves doing family dentistry and also attended courses in clear aligners; an alternative to conventional Ortho.
